Great dinner with the family from California. Greg & Audrey Fish enjoyed the trip to reach this place tucked in the part of old Florida. The scenery along the road was like traveling on a road built over the swamps of Florida. When we arrived at the restaurant it looked like a dump. The place didn't even have a sign telling you the name of the place. There were very expensive cars parked outside the place. This place is really a hidden treasure, you can only find if a local resident has let you into this secret place.
The entrance to the restaurant has plastic strips that hang down to resemble walking into a freezer.
We walked through the restaurant to the outside area where there were Christmas decorations everywhere. Boats were docked on the canal and one was even decorated as a shark.
Most of the tables were full but we managed to find a table down by the water. This place the menu is written on a big board and you have to go order your own food and drink. The line was long to order. Audy and I sat at the table and talked while Marlon and Greg stood in line to order our food and drink.
I wanted snow crabs so Marlon got them for me with some coleslaw and a nice cold beer. The food was DELICIOUS.
After dinner we walked around and viewed the rest of the Christmas decorations around the restaurant.
